Initially most members of our team thought it is impossible to create a simple game, based on basic blocks, which could be entertaining. However, Minecraft showed us just the opposite thing. It is not just entertaining, but very addictive as well, like some other simple games. In case you want to give it a try, you can do it for 100 minutes of gameplay on a server with several restrictions. Once the time is up, you can purchase it for just EUR 19.95.

Gameplay

As we have already mentioned, Minecraft is based on building things with blocks, lots of blocks actually. You can see blocks everywhere. Even you character is block-based. Actually, the interface of the game is what you need to get used to mostly. What we like the most about Minecraft is its infinite potential. Probably the next thing you should know about this games is that there are multiple servers, which offer different gameplay modes. For instance, ones enable you to simply build stuff with your friends, whilst others require that you fight for dominance. You can also explore the wilderness and fight various monsters, which appear in the night mostly. In case you get tired, you can look for caves and even dip yourselves into the ocean, a lake or a river. If you want to enhance your chances against monsters, you should definitely craft some weapons as well as an armor in order to protect yourself from their attacks.

Graphics

Over time the simplest games proved to be the greatest one. This is applicable for Minecraft as well. It is true that its entire world is based on simple blocks, but you can still create breathtaking buildings or other stuff. The variety of colors is very large. Actually, you can even dig blocks and store them in your inventory for further usage. In order to find all blocks you need, you might spend lots of hours. Thanks to the wide variety of servers, you have a great choice. If we add the open world nature to the equation, the results is no limitations, except your imagination. Minecraft doesn't shine with its graphics for sure, especially compared to most modern games out there. However, the freedom you get doesn't have an equivalent.

Sound

Its sound is probably the weakest point of Minecraft. While playing the Demo version, the only sound we heard was the one from digging, building, the monsters and animals. However there was no music at all. Just like in movies, background music is very important in games as well.

Conclusion

Minecraft might shine with its simplicity at first place, but it definitely provides you with unlimited game experience. The only limitation you could have is your imagination. Probably this is the reason for Minecraft to have one of the biggest online societies. If you are looking for a different kind of gameplay, you should definitely download and try Minecraft.
